The Role
We're looking for a skilled Gate Automation Service Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role covering Worcestershire and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of gate automation and barrier systems. The position requires someone who can work independently and as part of a team, manage deadlines, and deliver high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities
Install new gate automation systems (swing, sliding, barriers, bollards).
Maintain and service existing automated gates and access control systems.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs.
Work with both residential and commercial customers in a customer-facing role.
Complete accurate service and installation reports.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

Requirements
Proven experience in gate automation, ideally with manufacturers such as BFT, CAME, FAAC, NICE, or GIBIDI.
Strong understanding of automatic gate systems, barriers, and access control.
Confident in fault-finding and system diagnostics.
Valid UK driving licence.
Fluent in spoken and written English (essential for client communication and reporting).
Knowledge of access control systems, door entry panels, or door automation systems is a plus.
Familiarity with industry safety standards. DHF Safety Diploma is advantageous but not essential.
