Summary
DF (Fire Protection) Ltd are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator for an immediate start.
The ideal candidate will have related knowledge within the construction industry (Passive Fire Protection/Fire stopping a key advantage), and a minimum 3 years experience with a QS/Estimator role. They will be confident and motivated, with a hands on approach securing tender/contract opportunities, leading a small workforce and delivering successful projects.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new tender opportunities
• End to end project and cost management, from initial quotation to sign off
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
• Provide regular reports on business development progress to senior management
Experience:
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
• Knowledge of Passive Fire/Fire stopping procedures and products would be an advantage
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach
• Full, valid UK driving licence with the willingness and flexibility to travel to sites across the UK when required
