Are you a positive person with a good sense of humour? Would you enjoy helping me to retain my independence? Are you able to commit 10 hours of your time each week (ideally 10 - 3) two days a week, with one of these shifts very occasionally worked at weekends). Then if so read on………..
I am a thirty something year old woman who is registered blind yet still has some useful vision. I want to continue to do all the things a woman of my age would normally have access to but in order to do so I need some support. There is no personal care or cleaning required and some flexibility with hours is possible.
If you can drive (own car needed), are sociable, reliable, have some IT skills and a willingness to learn about sight loss then you could be just the person I am looking for and if you are seeking some part time work I may be the answer to your search!
You will help me to get out and about in the community and access appointments and hobbies. If you could support me to take exercise and visit places away from home that would be great. I will also sometimes need to make use of your eyes to decipher written material, research activities and do non-food shopping.
Rate of Pay:
£14.14 Mon-Sun
Total 10 hours per week, to be arranged flexibly.
2x posts available (one filled).
Location: Leeds LS23
Holiday Entitlement:
You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks each year pro rata
