Progress Coach - Oxford

Are you passionate about empowering young people to succeed in education, work, and life? We are seeking enthusiastic and inspirational individuals to join our Progress Coach team in Oxford.

About the Role

As a Progress Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting students across a range of faculties, helping them develop the personal, social, and academic skills they need to thrive.

Your responsibilities will be split across:

  • Whole Class Personal Development Sessions (approx. 60% of your time): Deliver engaging sessions to a wide range of learners across up to 18 groups per week.
  • 1-to-1 and Group Coaching: Provide targeted support to help students improve learning behaviours, build resilience, and prepare for further education or employment.

You will also support students with behavioural challenges, working within a positive behaviour management framework and closely collaborating with student support services and faculty staff.

This role requires strong record-keeping, communication, and a commitment to safeguarding and professional integrity.

  • Strong group management and student rapport-building skills
  • Resilience and empathy when supporting students with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to deliver confident, relevant sessions on topics such as consent, inclusion, self-awareness, and personal responsibility
  • Creative approaches to student engagement, including project-based learning
  • Confident use of MS Office and the ability to adapt to new IT systems
