Summary

Morgan Hunt are working with a market leading Welfare to Work provider who are recruiting for SEN Job Coach in North Yorkshire. This role will involve supporting SEN learners within the workplace currently on a Supported Internship programme. This is a full time, fixed term contract until July with a possibility to become permanent in September. The salary for this role is paying between £24,520 - £30,093 pro rata. The role will be based across Skipton and Harrogate.




The SEN Job Coach will be responsible for:




  • Identifying suitable work opportunities for learners
  • Supporting SEN learners in the workplace whilst in their work experience placements
  • Having a clear understanding of the learners difficulties and addressing these
  • Collaborating with the Tutor and Employer Engagement Officer to ensure suitable placements are sourced
  • Ensuring the learner is on track with their course progress




The SEN Job Coach will need to have:



  • Experience of working with SEN learners either in the classroom or the workplace
  • Worked with learners aged 16-18
  • Experience in working on employability programmes
  • The confidence in order to progress in the role to eventually engage with employers
  • The ability to travel across various sites
