Summary
Turnaround Manager covering Yorkshire, North West and North East
Available Hours:
Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week.
Regional Based
Flexibility to cover other regions/areas and overnight stay when required
The role
Working directly with the Regional Director and relevant Area Manager, the Turnaround Manager will work alongside the Registered Manager (RM), or where no RM is in post assume full accountability for the general management of every aspect of a Home's operations with a specific focus on the provision of high-quality person-centred care. The focus will be on homes that have a history of quality and commercial challenges and need a 'cultural shift' to ensure their future success.
In addition, focusing on the delivery of improved quality, the Turnaround Manager will drive improvement in all aspects of service delivery. This will include ensuring that the Home is able to meet or exceed all internal and external quality standards and budgeted levels of occupancy and profit. The Turnaround Manager, working with and alongside the incumbent team, will gain a full understanding of each team member's competence and capability. This will ensure the right skill mix within the teams to deliver the standards of person-centred care required. Through strong leadership and management of clinical and non-clinical team members alike the Turnaround Manager will ensure the highest levels of care and governance are provided.

- RGN or RMN - desirable
- Management qualification Level 4 or higher
- Influencing, persuading and negotiating skills
- Dementia knowledge (for care homes with residents living with dementia)
- Flexible approach to working hours - able to work occasional outside of normal hours
- Able to travel to locations where needed
