We are seeking a skilled Welding Robot Operator to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and the ability to fabricate and assemble metal components with precision. This role requires a keen understanding of mechanical processes, as well as the ability to work with various materials and tools. Responsibilities for Welding Robot Operator
• To operate a collaborative Robot Welder (training will be provided).
• Operate welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Utilise hand tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Handle materials appropriately, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
Requirements
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG
• Familiarity with robot operation, or a willingness to learn
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling and materials handling.
• Ability to fabricate and assemble components
• Competence in using various hand tools safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
7.15am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday – 39 paid hours
