Summary
Brentwood Borough Council is seeking a proactive Redevelopment and Regeneration Manager to lead the strategic delivery of the Coptfold Road Car Park redevelopment project. This pivotal role sits within the Council’s General Management team and focuses on transforming a key town centre site to support regeneration objectives and long-term economic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Coptfold Road Car Park redevelopment, ensuring alignment with Council objectives and timelines.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including planning, legal, finance, and external consultants.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, including local businesses, residents, and development partners.
• Oversee risk management, budget control, and project governance.
• Provide regular updates and briefings to senior leadership and elected members.
Requirements:
• Strong track record in managing complex regeneration or development projects within the public sector.
• Experience in stakeholder management, procurement processes, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of planning policy, urban regeneration, and local government frameworks.
