Job Title: Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers
Location: Birmingham & surrounding areas
Pay Rate: from £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern: Ad-hoc and full time shifts between Monday and Sunday (rota-based)
Hours: 8-hrs/ 10-hrs day shifts
Employment Type: Temporary/ Temp-to-Perm/ Ongoing
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals in residential, nursing, and community settings across Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and emotional support to clients
• Assist with daily activities including washing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other care professionals
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with care standards
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS Check (must be up to date or willing to process and pay for a new one)
• Previous experience in a healthcare or care setting is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work as part of a team
• Eligibility to work in the UK (self-employed candidates are also welcome to join)
