Summary
Key Responsibilities
Provide emotional support to parents and children, helping them navigate stressful and challenging situations with empathy and care.
Facilitate and supervise safe contact between children and their parents or relatives, ensuring the best interests of the child are prioritised at all times.
Take responsibility for your own health and safety, as well as that of others, while carrying out your duties.
Support children, young people, and their families in engaging effectively with relevant professionals and services.
Promptly report and accurately document any concerns regarding the health, safety, or well-being of children, young people, and their families.
Assist children, young people, and families in the development and implementation of individualised care and support plans.
Support parents in meeting the educational and emotional needs of their children and young people.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by your manager to support the overall aims of the service.
