About the team

The Senior Strategy Manager is a key role within Ofqual’s Strategy Unit. The team is positioned at the heart of the organisation and engage with teams right across Ofqual, as well as with senior leaders and Ofqual's Board. The team is responsible for work to shape, communicate, track and report progress on Ofqual’s strategy, to gather insights from stakeholders and lead strategic projects to maximise the long-term effectiveness and impact of Ofqual’s work.

Person Specification

The Senior Strategy manager will undertake intellectually stimulating work as part of a small, dynamic team. You will play a key role in defining, communicating, and reviewing Ofqual’s strategy, ensuring it remains relevant and effective in a changing context. You will assess impact, analyse progress and emerging challenges, and gather insights to inform decision-making. You will lead on key strategic projects, as required, to drive improvements in Ofqual's approach. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, who can connect the big picture with practical action.
