Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of high-quality industrial blades and wear parts. Based in Sheffield and serving the UK and European markets, they support customers in recycling, biomass, plastics, metal, and other processing sectors. Our blades are built to perform and are backed by fast turnaround times and expert support.
They’re hiring a tenacious and motivated Outbound Telesales Executive to join their sales team. This is a full-time, office-based role focused on proactively identifying and contacting new prospects via cold calls and outbound outreach. You will play a hands-on role in generating new business, taking full ownership of the early sales cycle by self-sourcing leads, establishing relationships and securing quote and proposal opportunities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and wants to be rewarded for their performance.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Make high-volume outbound B2B calls to generate new business opportunities
• Identify and research prospects across target industries (e.g. recycling, processing, manufacturing)
• Self-generate leads using online directories, LinkedIn, industry insights, and existing databases
• Speak directly with buyers, operations managers, and engineers to understand needs
• Secure opportunities to quote or propose solutions based on prospect requirements
• Maintain accurate records of activity, contacts, and outcomes in our CRM (Salesforce)
• Follow up on inbound or marketing-generated leads when needed
• Consistently build and manage a healthy outbound pipeline to meet targets
• Provide basic product information and tailor the message to each prospect's business
What will your role look like?
• Previous outbound telesales or cold calling experience (B2B highly desirable)
• Track record of self-sourcing leads and generating qualified opportunities
• Confident, persuasive communicator with excellent listening skills
• Resilient and proactive with a target-driven mentality
• Comfortable discussing technical products in a clear, benefit-led way
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time and workload effectively
• CRM experience (preferably Salesforce) is an advantage
• Interest in industrial sectors such as manufacturing or recycling is beneficial but not essential
