Summary
Warner Family Jewellers are recruiting for a part time sales advisor for their busy retail shop based in the Glass Works, Barnsley.
Warners is a family run business since 1947, they are a small, close team that sell mostly second-hand gold & silver jewellery and watches they also offer small repairs in the store.
We are looking for someone to work 3 days a week, Wednesday, Saturday and either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday with the possibility of increasing to 4 full days 8:30am – 4pm in the future for the right candidate. You will also be required to work extra days to cover staff holidays.
Job Description –
You will be working in a well-established, busy jewellery shop, servicing customers, taking payments, answering queries, preparing items to be sent off for repair following the stores set protocols and carrying out small repairs onsite.
This is a starter position, but Warners are committed to training staff to allow them to progress within the business.
Essential Skills –
Sales / retail experience
Organised
Be able to follow instructions

Passionate about Jewellery or vintage items
Good attention to detail
Committed to training
Knowledge / interest of second-hand jewellery, watches & gemstones
Desirable Skills –
Previous experience of working with jewellery

If successful you will be expected to work a trail shift which will be paid
