There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Head Office located in Newcastle upon Tyne, is recruiting a Group Marketing Coordinator in a fixed-term position for 15 months to cover maternity leave within the existing team.
The Role
The role of Marketing Co-ordinator reports to the Regional Marketing Manager and is responsible for analysing the sales requirements of divisions to help inform, create, and implement marketing strategies. This vital role utilises wide-ranging marketing techniques to optimise the brand's exposure and drive company growth within a highly competitive market. A keen interest in data and analytics is essential, as the role requires deep dives into sales requirements, investigating existing and required databases, and consistently evaluating marketing strategies.
Principal accountabilities of the Group Marketing Coordinator role include:
Successfully take ownership of development marketing from the point of Bellway acquiring land, to the final sale, and beyond.
Liaise with key stakeholders to identify site-specific marketing opportunities.
Review the requirements for marketing against sales targets and objectives, set by divisional sales teams, in order to suggest and implement strategic marketing strategies
Track all advertising campaigns and prepare performance analysis reports, suggesting improvements and future campaigns
Maintain, expand and utilise our existing database of clients ensuring GDPR compliance.
Ensure that content and assets published across leading property portals, including Rightmove, are kept up to date by working collaboratively with divisional sales teams and other members of the Marketing Team.
Hold a firm understanding of online advertising and use this to review effectiveness of campaigns
Proofread and liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of all published material.
Ensure comprehensive marketing of all new developments and properties on our websites.
Regularly review development content by liaising with appropriate members of divisional sales teams, to add value to the divisional web pages.
Obtain and utilise new imagery and content such as virtual tours
Develop the divisional requirement for direct and email advertising campaigns and use existing databases to segment and target campaigns appropriately.
Work with partner organisations to improve our brand and product awareness.
Liaise with PR agencies to facilitate coverage including site events and proofing press releases
Attend agency meetings on a 4-6 week basis which may include travel across the country
Carry out marketing administration to meet departmental needs.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Experience
Experience within a marketing role
Experience of working with data and analytics to inform marketing campaigns
Experience of working within the construction or property sector is desirable but not essential
Qualifications and Training
GCSE Maths and English – Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
Higher Education Qualification (A-Level or equivalent)
Marketing qualifications are desirable but not essential
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Skills and Aptitude
Excellent communication skills, including face to face, telephone, and written
An appreciation of both online and offline marketing channels
Ability to build relationships with both internal and external personnel
Ability to manage multiple projects while working to tight deadlines
Enthusiastic, positive and motivated with a flexible approach to work
Creative thinking with problem-solving abilities
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Willingness to travel to divisions across the country as required in order to facilitate the role

The Role and Working Conditions
Monday to Friday: 35 hours per week
15 Months Fixed Term
Office based role, with regular travel to Divisional offices and development sites as and when required.
Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.
