About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. You will help create a positive learning environment, encourage student participation, and support individual needs.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Supporting pupils with learning, both one-to-one and in small groups
Helping to prepare learning materials and classroom displays
Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with SEN
What We’re Looking For:
Enhanced DBS on the up date service
A genuine passion for working with children and young people
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Relevant experience or a qualification in education is a bonus – but not essential
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
