Summary
The Family Meal Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a well presented and welcoming space for our team members to dine in. By providing a smooth service, high standards and ensuring that each dining area is maintained to an exceptional standard; clean, tidy and well stocked and is adequately resourced to provide our team with everything they need.
A “go-to person” who is highly reliable, knowledgeable and a trusted representative for team member meals and the person others consistently turn to for help, advice or solutions. You take a keen interest in and remain aware of project activities throughout the club and ensure that the dining spaces are appropriately represented at any given time.

We’re looking for a passionate individual to play a key role in our Family Meal Program, delivering exceptional staff dining experiences with skill, care, and creativity.
A hands-on Supervisor who is passionate about service and will develop and train a very high level of customer service while overseeing the day-to-day floor operations and the delivery of daily meals that will nourish and energise our team. It’s about bringing integrity, seasonality, and thoughtful execution to every dish, ensuring our team enjoys meals that are as delicious as they are memorable. Creating an environment that reflects the highest standards of hospitality and care.
You lead by example and uphold exceptional standards and have a genuine passion for service excellence. As an Ambassador for Taymouth Castle you are a spokesperson, advocate, role model and supporter. Assisting team member’s needs, issues and concerns in a professional, courteous manner.
A visible and active floor presence, managing the day-to-day processes through observance and teamwork and exemplary communication with colleagues. You have a thorough understanding of each food and drink item being offered, imparting your knowledge on those to colleagues; continually maintaining product quality control.
Train and mentor team members, instilling a culture of excellence and professionalism. While sharing a knowledge of food and beverage offerings, enhancing team confidence and continually developing their dining experience.
Ensuring compliance with all health and hygiene laws and DLC policies (cleaning schedules, temperature records, opening and closing checklists). Making sure each one is completed and recorded daily. Monitoring the inventory and actively involved in the procurement and purchasing processes. Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is properly handled and maintained by all team members and reporting any issues or concerns immediately.
You adapt to the needs of the business, taking on other responsibilities, attending departmental and business-wide meetings, actively engaging with colleagues and leadership to ensure the dining spaces reflect our goals and align with our objectives and priorities.

With two years of hospitality management experience within a retail setting; you may be working within a Hotel, Restaurant, Visitor Attraction or Contract Catering business. This superb opportunity requires an enthusiastic individual ready to bring vision, creativity, and leadership to our table.
Proven leadership abilities and the vision for quality and excellence in food and beverage operations. Speciality experience in procurement, seasonality of produce, dining trends and sourcing together with a great personality. Clear communication and organisation skills you have the ability and knowledge to train and develop skills in others.
