Summary
About the role
I hold full control of the sites stock and spares holding In Tesco\'s most strategically important distribution Centre along with 2 other satellite stores in automated buildings adjacent.
I have a passion for the customer, recognising the Impact of the decisions that I make and the efficiency of any maintenance carried out. I ensure we have the correct spares available 24/7 through good planning, organization and ensuring we build and maintain great relationships with key suppliers.
I prioritise ordering according to budgets and liaise with my management team whenever required to ensure service Interruptions are non-existent.
You will be responsible for
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence whilst holding accountability for these key responsibilities:
- Completing stores maintenance across all three Tesco sites within the Daventry Campus to an excellent standard, whilst ensuring any components that need booking into locations are either immediately logged or scheduled in for weekly/monthly audits.
- I always operate with safety in mind.
- Building effective relationships with my colleagues, stakeholders and contractors, ensuring strong bonds with my operational colleagues and supporting them where possible.
- Being proactive and dynamic with my timekeeping, ensuring that I give the best value to the department within my working time. I actively look for ways to be supportive and continuously Improve our stock holding/quantities.
- Create documentation for tracking purposes for trending parts usage across critical areas within the automation.
- Support In ensuring sites maintenance budget Is adhered to, through working with engineers for continuous
- Improvement methods of components/holdings to support efficiency In a time of need on site breakdowns/maintenance schedules.
- Administrative maintenance, ensuring the CMMS is up to date and truly reflective of the stores department position on site and completing other tasks to a high standard.
- Direct Involvement with the planning technician for maintenance schedules across site engineers on a daily basis ensuring parts & components are available for task completion.
