Joining us as a Solution Architect (Finance & Billing Systems)

Are you passionate about designing innovative solutions that drive business success? Join our dynamic team as a Solution Architect, focusing on finance and billing systems. You will play a crucial role in defining and communicating the structure and dynamics of solutions that meet key stakeholder requirements, identifying architectural risks, and providing recommendations for mitigation.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to capture, maintain, and evolve current state architecture with a focus on finance and billing systems

Evaluate internal functions, systems, business strategies, and IT processes to improve finance and billing systems, supporting our future strategies and goals

Ensure alignment between business and technology by linking the business mission, strategy, and processes to the technology strategy, particularly in finance and billing systems

Support the early life definition of programs and projects, including shaping and defining the scope and roadmap for finance and billing systems, and input into business cases (e.g., estimation, impact analysis)

Manage or assist in the delivery of technical solutions that provide business advantages through effective design of finance and billing systems

Collaborate with all departments to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges related to finance and billing systems

What you’ll bring to the role:

You have a strong background in solution architecture with a focus on finance and billing systems. You’ll also have:

Experience with Telecoms, IT Industry, and Enterprise Architecture best practice methodologies, processes, functions, and data maps such as those used by TM Forum, or defined by ITIL, TOGAF, BPMN, UML, etc

Ability to define and articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, especially in finance and billing systems

Demonstrable experience working with systems and solutions deployed in a cloud environment, ideally AWS

Experience with reverse engineering undocumented legacy systems and software, including data models

Good commercial awareness, with the ability to select the best-fit product for finance and billing purposes

Excellent communication skills, communicating to both internal and external clients
