Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Patient Pathway Elective Care Coordinator to support our team within the Women’s Health - Benign Gynaecology Department.
We are looking for an ambitious creative thinker who is able to use their own initiative to solve problems, someone who will put patients at the heart of everything they do.
The post holder will provide senior support and expert knowledge to the team as well as manging our patient pathway coordinators.
The role will oversee staff management and administrative and clerical processes to enable a high quality, effective, patient focused service to be delivered.
The post holder will ensure achievement of all performance targets for the administrative team and will have the ability to resolve local issues.
The role will work closely with clinicians including senior Consultants and the Assistant Service Manager to ensure the effective running of the service.
You must be a team player, accept responsibility, demonstrate accountability and be a confident decision maker. You will possess good interpersonal skills and communications skills. You will need to be competent in basic IT skills and capable of logical thinking, practical problem-solving, objective assessment skills and report writing.

The purpose of this post is to ensure and participate in providing an effective administration service for Benign Gynaecology at the Royal London Hospital to the multidisciplinary team in the Barts Health networked service.
