Summary
Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Accounts Assistant for our Client based in Walsall.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our clients growing team. You will support the practice in delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a hands-on role involving bookkeeping, VAT returns, and general accounting duties.

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
• Prepare and submit VAT returns for various client
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software
• Raise and process client invoices accurately
• Use Sage and QuickBooks efficiently to manage accounts
• Liaise with clients in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with payroll and balance sheet account preparation
• Support the wider team with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed
In order to be considered for the role of Accounts Assistant:
• Proficient in Sage and QuickBooks
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Experience with payroll and bookkeeping preferred
• A relevant qualification (e.g., AAT, Associate’s Degree in Business Administration) or equivalent work experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
