Summary

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide support to tenants and take the operational lead for the direct management and use of the Council's second stage temporary accommodation provision, for rough sleepers.

About the role:

The role is a permanent position. The successful candidate will undertake and lead on operational housing management and support duties in the Council's owned second stage temporary accommodation provision, for rough sleepers, including tenancy sign ups and inductions. Duties include supporting clients in tenancy compliance, monitoring and addressing tenancy breaches, supporting learning towards tenancy sustainment and facilitating move on.

About the team:

Housing Officers report to The Temporary Accommodation Lead and work alongside two full time Housing Support Workers, one part time and one full time Temporary Accommodation Officer, a full-time Placement Coordinator and one full time Accommodation Payments Officer. The Team forms part of the wider Housing Needs Department.
