We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a role in IT. We are looking to recruit an onsite IT Technician to provide support to our Worksop site. Some IT experience is preferred but a passion for IT and problem solving is what we are looking for. IT skills are required, along with a good level of Maths and English, but full training will be given for this role, making this a great starting role for a career in IT!

Hours:
07.45am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
07.45am -12.45pm Friday (1 Friday off every 4 weeks!)

Main Responsibilities
• Provide direct IT support to the Worksop site, and remote IT support as required to other AQ UK sites for hardware, software and network related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by users
• Create, modify, and manage user accounts and permissions.
• Set up and configure workstations, hardware, and software for end users.
• Provide training and support for end-users on software, tools, and technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve IT-related challenges and implement new systems/ solutions.
• Manage information technology and computer systems.
• Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organisational policy.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures.


Experience / Skills / Attributes

• Strong interest in IT
• IT knowledge
• Some IT experience or an IT qualification would be desirable but not essential
• Good level of Math’s and English
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and prioritise own workload
• Accuracy and attention to detail
