Summary

About this role
We have two exciting opportunities for ambitious professionals with a passion for higher education to join UWE Bristol’s Academic Quality and Partnerships Enhancement (AQPE) team as Senior Quality Advisers. AQPE provides university-wide support for the ongoing development and review of UWE Bristol’s educational portfolio across three interconnected areas of activity: curriculum, collaborative provision, and standards and accreditation. These two roles are based within the collaborative provision service area.
The role holder has responsibility for managing other members of the team and ensuring that individual and team goals are achieved. The role may also involve travel in the UK or internationally from time to time, with reasonable notice.

About you
You’re an experienced professional with strong organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to balance a range of responsibilities in a flexible, autonomous and proactive manner. Collaborative and inclusive, you’re confident to work with a wide range of stakeholders, providing trusted advice, guidance and – where appropriate – challenge. You have broad-based administrative experience, strong IT skills, and experience of working within complex regulatory frameworks such as those found in higher education.

You have experience of managing an individual or team, and are able to motivate and influence others to achieve tasks to meet deadlines. A background in legal and/or collaborative partnership working would provide a good grounding for the role but is not essential experience.
