Summary
Full time Nursing associate, Specialist Palliative Care, Hertfordshire Division
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Specialist Palliative care Service based at BRE Science Park, Watford. This is a new role within the service working alongside a well established amazing team of nurses/doctors who work in home and care home settings across West Hertfordshire.
Our ideal candidate will be extremely well organised, flexible, approachable, professional and above all compassionate individual understanding of the needs of both patients and team members within the service/other health professionals. You will need to have a good sense of humour in order to blend well within the team, and a calm and considered approach to your work.
Your skills need to include acar driver with access to your own vehicle, knowledge, compassion and empathy to the needs of patients with long term conditions who may be rapidly deteriorating, understanding of the support needed by carers and the ability to work autonomously understanding the priorities of your working day.
The service provides a 7 day service , 9-5pm at present we feel this post holder would be Monday to Friday however this maybe subject to change
In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a fringe Cost Area Supplement .
