Firthmoor Academy wishes to appoint an Administration Assistant to join the Trustandrsquo;s administration team. The post holder will work under the current Office Manager and the main duties will include greeting visitors to the academy, answering the telephone and other general administrative tasks that will support the students and staff such as parent queries and inputting information on SIMS.



The successful candidate will have a friendly personality and possess excellent communication and keyboard/IT skills as well as the ability to show initiative in dealing with enquiries and providing support to colleagues. Applicants will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including Maths and English. Experience working in a school setting and knowledge of working with SIMS would be an advantage but not an essential as training will be available to the successful candidate.
