Summary
Role: CNC Grinder
Location: Worcester
Rate: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Shift Pattern:
AM Shift 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday
PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Thursday (8:00pm finish Friday)
The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Grinder to join a market leading manufacturing business in the Worcester area.
Duties:
Job Description
• Setting & operating Studer cylindrical/universal grinding machines.
• Producing a wide & varied range of high tolerance parts which are used in the manufacture of CNC machines.
• Understand Fanuc CNC controls & be able to program/edit/improve existing & new parts.
• Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules.
• Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives
Requirements:
• Have a solid understanding of cylindrical & universal grinding.
• Have experience & can safely operate & set CNC controls.
• Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Program from drawing Fanuc CNC controls. (desirable)
• Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship. (desirable)
