Summary
We are recruiting Care workers to join our passionate and committed team at Plas Bryn Rhosyn Older Persons Residential Care Home in Neath.
We have various part time, permanent positions available.
You will work as part of a rolling rota that ensures consistent support for the individuals in our care.

This Care Worker job is based at Plas Bryn Rhosyn; a 59 bed residential care home on Dwr y Felin Road, Neath. It boasts an excellent reputation as being a quality and valued care provider where the needs of the residents are at the centre of all that we do.
How can I make a difference?
As a care worker, you will work with the residents closely on a daily basis, assisting them to live their lives to the full. You will assist them with all of their needs (including personal care) according to their wishes. Becoming a friend and having fun with them is one of the most important parts of the role.
Day to day duties include:
Ensuring health and wellbeing of residents.
Providing personal care and emotional support.
Medication administration.
Participating in stimulating activities.
Involving residents in a person-centred approach.
What skills and experience do you need?
A background of working with people with Older persons is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided. More important are;
A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
