Summary

Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.

We are seeking to appoint for the following position:

Dyfed Powys Regional Development Manager

Location: Dyfed Powys (Candidates must reside in and be familiar with the local area. Attendance at face-to-face meetings at the Bawso office is required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.)

Hours:22.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day (inc. 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Salary:​£17, 804.47 per annum

​Fixed term contract up 31/03/2026



Role:

To provide strategic leadership and coordination for the development, sustainability, and innovation of services addressing all forms of violence against women and girls, including domestic abuse, sexual violence, forced marriage, honour-based violence and FGM in Dyfed Powys. The postholder will work across sectors and systems to identify need, co-design services, secure funding and build partnerships, with a specific focus on inclusion, equity and trauma-informed practice ensuring the needs of BME women and girls are meaningfully addressed.
