Summary
As our new Alumni and Advancement Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening lifelong relationships between the University and its alumni community. You’ll be at the heart of our advancement efforts-crafting innovative engagement strategies, leading exciting events, and helping drive philanthropic support that transforms lives on campus and beyond.
What you’ll do:
Build and nurture relationships with alumni, supporters, and partners-locally and globally.
Develop creative campaigns and events that celebrate our graduates and inspire them to stay connected.
Support fundraising initiatives that make a real difference for students, research, and the wider Wrexham community.
Manage and grow our alumni network, ensuring every graduate feels valued and included.
Collaborate with colleagues across the University to champion the Wrexham story and share our successes with the world.
What we’re looking for:
A natural relationship-builder with outstanding communication skills and a flair for storytelling.
Experience in alumni relations, fundraising, or stakeholder engagement (or a strong desire to learn!).
Organisational talent and the ability to juggle multiple projects with energy and creativity.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.
