Teaching Assistant

Hours of Post: 30hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only

Salary Grade: Payscale 2, points 3 to 4 - £24,027 - £24,404 FTE
(Salary will be pro rata to the part time, term time hours)

Start Date of Post: 1st September 2025

Great Moor Junior School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our caring, friendly and forward thinking school.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside our staff team providing learning support and behaviour management to individual children within an inclusive environment.

This is a permanent post starting from 1st September 2025, 30 hours a week, term time only.

We are looking for someone who:
Is creative and has a passion for working with children with special educational needs/behavioural difficulties
Is confident in delivering a firm but fair approach
Is empathetic, patient and uses their initiative when working with children
Is flexible and has experience of working with KS2 children.
Enjoys working as part of a team
