Salary Grade: Scale 3, points 5 to 6 - £24,790 to £25,183 FTE

Banks Lane Junior School, a popular, successful, and ‘Good’ (Ofsted, July 2024) three-form entry school in Stockport, is seeking a motivated and creative Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and ambitious team. About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our talented staff and children in accessing our excellent curriculum. We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, patient, and eager to fully participate in the vibrant life of our school.
We need a Teaching Assistant who:
Has a genuine passion for working with children.
Is a strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
Can effectively support the individual needs of pupils and contribute to whole-class learning.
Is able to work with children with a diverse range of educational needs.
Is approachable, adaptable, patient, motivated, and possesses strong communication skills.
Is highly organised and enjoys the dynamic nature of a busy school environment.
Is enthusiastic about supporting learning beyond the classroom, including educational trips and potentially residential visits.
