Summary
We are seeking experienced Site Managers on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company and take a key leadership role in managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and health & safety regulations.
- Manage and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient collaboration and performance.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Monitor site progress, resolving any issues that may arise and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure adherence to all industry regulations, quality control procedures, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, method statements, and health & safety documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering projects, including highways, infrastructure, drainage, and groundworks.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- CSCS card and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
