Summary
This is a maternity cover post for 9 months working 28 hours per week.
The department is recruiting a Senior Lecturer in Cardiac Physiology to support the delivery of the Practitioner Training Programme (PTP) along with the suite of post-graduate modules. Applications from those interested in job share opportunities and those interested in secondment from NHS roles are all welcome.
Swansea University currently offers 8 full-time degree programmes in Healthcare Science, 3 part-time programmes, and a suite of post-graduate modules and Continuing Professional Development modules. Healthcare Science sits within the School of Health and Social Care. Nearly all of the commissioned programmes from Welsh Government sit within this School. Healthcare Science is joined by Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Science in the School. This creates a culture of professional training and interdisciplinary education. The successful candidate will join the Healthcare Science academic unit. The Senior Lecturer in Cardiac Physiology will be responsible for teaching core Cardiac Physiology content for the post-graduate modules in Healthcare Science and Cardiac Physiology. They will also take on module management responsibilities for these modules.
