Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of IT & Digital to lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the Bishop Auckland College Group’s IT and digital services. This is a pivotal role in shaping our digital infrastructure to support teaching, learning, innovation, business continuity and long-term growth.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Management Team, you will drive the digital agenda across the Group; ensuring our IT systems, services and infrastructure are robust, secure, forward-thinking and aligned with our strategic goals. You will play a leading role in enhancing cyber security, supporting digital transformation, and ensuring our IT provision meets the evolving needs of students, staff and stakeholders.
We are looking for a dynamic and solutions-focused leader who can inspire and manage high-performing teams, while delivering complex digital projects and service improvements.
The successful candidate will hold a level 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area. The successful candidate must have held recent positions of responsibility in major ICT development projects of a varied nature, or a senior/middle management role in IT services delivery. It is essential that the candidate has experience of network planning and has been involved in the development of IT strategies, polices and standards.
