Summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, resourceful and compassionate individual, who will help improve the quality of vulnerable people’s lives by maximising their income from benefits and supporting them to budget for the things that they would like to do now and in the future.
The Team has a passion for helping vulnerable adults improve and maintain their quality of life through the maximisation of benefits and budgeting skills. We are looking for someone who is warm, positive, creative and accountable with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with clients, families, staff and partner agencies.
You will be responsible for a caseload of corporate appointeeships, managing benefit claims, bank accounts and budgeting for a number of vulnerable adults who do not have the capacity to do this for themselves.
You will have an interest in financial inclusion and the DWP benefits systems. You will need to be self-motivated with a keen interest in rules and regulations and how we can use this knowledge for the benefit of our clients.
This role also involves regular, regional travel. Our Head Office located in close proximity to transport links into Manchester City Centre, with Stockport train station an 8 minute walk away.
