This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Agile Lead Scrum Master who will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. Also, will work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities)
Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), and delivery best practices.
Remove impediments and blockers to ensure high-velocity delivery while maintaining quality.
Work closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog for sprint execution.
Track team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) and use data to drive team improvements.
Foster a collaborative, transparent, and self-organizing team environment.
Coordinate with other teams and Scrum Masters to manage interdependencies and align on program-level goals.
Promote and implement Agile tools, standards, and frameworks that support consistent delivery practices.
Identify risks early and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
Lead Agile transformation efforts and serve as a change agent across departments when needed.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
5+ years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master or a related field.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).
Proven ability to lead Agile teams in complex, cross-functional environments.
Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience delivering digital or software products in a fast-paced environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification preferred.
Technical background or understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
Experience with scaled Agile environments (SAFe, Spotify model, etc.).
Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and product delivery metrics.
Promote best practices in Agile development, test automation, CI/CD, and DevOps integration.
Understanding of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman).
Experience working with TDD/BDD practices and integrating QA into Agile workflows.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines.
Experience aligning Agile delivery cycles with DevOps pipelines and release planning.
Experience with Agile reporting tools like Jira Align, BigPicture, EazyBI, Power BI, Tableau for sprint and program-level dashboards.
Proficient in tracking velocity, cycle time, lead time, throughput, and deployment frequency.
Understanding of DevSecOps integration in Agile workflows is a plus.
