Summary
Environmental Health Officer needed in Bromley Paying £28.14 per hr ref 1511695
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve statutory nuisance complaints related to noise, smoke, dust, light, and odour.
- Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues, working closely with the ASB team and other stakeholders.
- Act as a Licensing Responsible Authority, reviewing and providing feedback on licensing applications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of investigations and actions taken.
- Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to address public health and safety concerns.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Health or a related field.
- Registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) or equivalent.
- Experience in handling statutory nuisance complaints and ASB cases.
- Knowledge of licensing laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
