Description
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering to deliver complex capital projects to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of high-impact projects across the organisation.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for leading project initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects and will possess exceptional leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Your ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to senior executives, will be crucial as you navigate the various phases of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.
Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and address any roadblocks to project progress.
Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, share updates, and gather feedback from team members.
Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies, continuously seeking improvements in processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or relevant certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a similar industry.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage unforeseen challenges in projects.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
