Summary
Corporate and Delivery Directorate works closely with the Home Office’s policy and operational commands to enable us together to deliver the department’s priorities. The directorate is comprised of different teams and professional functions, including Commercial, Finance, People, Portfolio and Project Delivery, Security, Estates and Information and Digital, Data and Technology.
The role will report into the Health and Safety Transformation Lead and will support the delivery of the high-profile Home Office health and safety transformation programme. This programme is aimed at resetting and uplifting the Department's safety culture to excellent, within the wider Home Office Transformation Programme and Outcome Delivery Plan.
As People Health and Safety Transformation Business Partner, you will work with senior management & colleagues within the People Health, Safety and Fire Management team, utilising your project management skills, knowledge and experience of health and safety to help drive transformation of People Health and Safety across the Home Office.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Project Management – Planning, scheduling, tasking and coordinating the development of new and existing projects. Handle effective transition between programme phases.
- Future Operating Model – Work with the Transformation G7 to co-create, implement and embed the Health and Safety Future Operating Model for the Home Office.
- Design, build, test and prepare for consultation products to support health and safety management across the Home Office.
- Collaboration – Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and coordinate development tasks.
- Documentation – Create and maintain documentation including system design, data models and user instructions. Develop user-friendly forms, reports and dashboards.
- Data Management – Use of Excel and other data management systems.
- Work with DDaT to oversee build and rollout new health, safety and fire products, e.g. DSE and remote working.
- You will be required to work in a flexible way and undertake any other duties reasonably requested by line management which are commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post.
Working Pattern
- This role is available on a full-time basis with the option of compressed hours working.
Travel
- Frequent travel in the UK (2-3 times a month) will be required.
