About the Role

Are you a passionate and qualified teacher looking to make a genuine impact in the lives of children with additional needs? We’re expanding our exceptional team in Liverpool and seeking nurturing, empathetic, and skilled teachers (QTS) to provide one-to-one, personalised support to students with SEND, SEMH, and Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA).

This is a deeply rewarding, flexible role where you’ll work with pupils in their homes or local community settings, offering tailored academic and emotional support that makes a real difference every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Providing high-quality 1:1 teaching and emotional guidance to pupils with diverse needs
- Designing and delivering individualised learning programmes
- Helping students build confidence, resilience, and life skills
- Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and social development
- Liaising with families, schools, and other professionals to create joined-up support
- Keeping clear and concise records of student progress

What We’re Looking For

- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
- A strong understanding of SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs
- Experience in alternative provision or community-based teaching
- Patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
- Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
