Essentials Duties
- Lead the Parts Team to be respond proactively and ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Proactively drive parts volume growth and engage with our customers
- Recruit, train, motivate and support the performance of the parts team
- Lead sales efforts, including telemarketing, to keep in contact with customers and pro-actively sell. • Ensure the same high-quality level of service provided to customers is also provided to internal dealership customers, by working with the Service/Workshop managers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts
- Maintain pricing parameters in each customer category whilst maintaining customer loyalty
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service/workshop and our customers
- Manage stock checks and adjust inventory to minimise obsolescence
- Analyse departmental operations and storage layout and revise as needed for maximum effectiveness
- Provide technical assistance and problem resolution to the Parts Department Team
- Manage customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines
- Maintain professional appearance of retail areas, stores and the Parts Team
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven parts leadership experience, gained ideally within related automotive sector experience will be considered.
- Appraisal of staff, alignment of individual development needs with training provision.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiar with large vehicle or competitive products.
- Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work extended in-season hours and occasional Saturdays
