Summary
Title: 2 x Mobile Toilet Cleaning Attendants (South Hams) and 1 x Seasonal Location Attendant (Salcome)
Mobile Toilet Cleaning Attendants:
Salary / Rate: £ 12.45 per hour (enhanced weekend rate)
Hours: Full time: 38 hours over 4 days - 4 days on, 4 days off
Shifts:
Shift 1: 06:45-16:30 (for the 4 days)
Shift2: 08:00-18:00 (for the 4 days)
Contract: Temporary
We are seeking a Mobile Cleaner to attend a number of toilet block sites across the South Hams. You will be given training, a uniform, PPE and a full kitted out small van with set routes to complete, therefore MUST be able to drive.
* Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
* Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
* Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
* Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
* Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels
Seasonal Location Attendant:
Salary / Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Temporary - June, July and August 2025
Thursday to Monday 10am to 5pm
* Carry out street scen duties working under instruction of the supervisor
* Litter picking
* Managing littler bins to ensure sufficient capacity
* Provide knowledge to visitors about Council Services
* Represent the Council and work with members of the public and community groups in a courteous and professional manner
For both the above jobs you will ideally have:
* Methodical and organised approach to work/tasks
* Punctual, honest and reliable
* Good communication and fluent understanding of English
* MUST be able to drive and have a full UK Driving Licence
* Local knowledge is desirable
* Ability to work in all weathers
* Pride in your work
