Crynodeb

Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager who has previous experience developing long-lasting and trusting relationships with business customers, listening to their needs and developing strategic roadmaps aligned with their requirements is required for a well-established Cloud IT Services Company based in the City of London.


The role is not a sales focused role rather is focused on adding value to the clients’ business via thought leadership, with a view to fostering and maintaining long-term client relationships. A consultative-style and approach to client and relationship development is required.

SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hybrid. Working from the City of London office (EC1N) and from home

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (3 Days per Week from the Office in London and 2 Days per Week from Home)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager who has previous experience developing long-lasting and trusting relationships with business customers, listening to their needs and developing strategic roadmaps aligned with their requirements.

Working as the Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager you will be the face of the company – owning, maintaining, and deepening the trusted relationships on which the business is built. Supported by colleagues and management, as the Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager you will have overall responsibility for the commercial success of your own portfolio of accounts and will have an opportunity to contribute to the immediate team and the company. You will be the voice of the customer within the business and take pride in ensuring the company deliver excellent service and anticipate and cater for their future IT requirements.


ABOUT THE COMPANY

Founded in 2004, they are a rapidly growing Cloud IT services company based in central London. They provide a range of industry leading technical, advisory and consultation services. The company’s job is to make their clients’ Information Technology work efficiently and securely. They are also their key advisor for new IT developments, particularly around IT security, and you will be involved in leading their clients’ IT plans to help deliver their clients’ business objectives. Their clients operate in many sectors including Legal, Private Equity, Asset Management, Media, and others. The company share their clients’ focus on quality and service excellence, and as, a result of business growth, are now looking to hire an Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager.


DUTIES

Client Engagement

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients

• Take a structured approach to your work, plan and arrange regular meetings

Relationship Building

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their business objectives and aligning company services to meet those goals

• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings

Account Management

• Oversee the onboarding process for new clients

• Monitor client accounts to track usage, service performance, and contract compliance

• Manage contract renewals

Internal Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with internal teams for timely service delivery

• Communicate client needs to relevant departments

Performance Reporting

• Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, client satisfaction, and KPI/SLA’s

• Analyse data to identify trends and areas for service improvement

Problem Resolution

• Proactively identify and address potential challenges affecting client satisfaction

• Lead the resolution process for any service disruptions or client concerns

Strategic Planning

• Develop strategic roadmaps aligned with Client requirements

• Provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations


REQUIREMENTS

• Must have previous industry experience in a relevant role (in IT industry preferred)

• Demonstrable business acumen and a keenness to understand the IT services marketplace and developments

• Articulate and professional with excellent interpersonal skills including expectation management

• Customer service-orientation

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to generate client proposals and reports as well as to communicate/ simplify technical information in person, by email or over the phone

• Competent in accurately maintaining CRM software with management information, billing data and client linked documentation (we use MS Dynamics and Power Apps)

• Desire to work as part of a team, making a valuable contribution to the business
