Summary

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Leadership Trainer to join the team at Maria Mallaband Care Group. Working as part of the Learning & Development Team to provide L&D within the MMCG Elevating Excellence Leadership Academy.

Reporting to our Group Head of Learning & Organisational Development you’ll work collaboratively with functions across the business to support in the creation, delivery and evaluation of effective Leadership programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training programs and materials suited to the needs of leadership colleagues in our homes and the wider business.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive sessions, workshops and webinars on various topics.
  • Promote, encourage and champion high quality care specific leadership through engaging learning and coaching sessions
  • Work in conjunction with stakeholders to understand the leadership training gaps in the business and build learning to support these as part of the Leadership Academy.
  • Forecast learning needs in the services and respond to those identified areas through facilitation and teaching and coaching

About You

  • 5 years experience in either Health & Social Care, Customer Service pr Education sector
  • 5 years experience of training delivery
  • A good understanding of care homes operations and leadership structure, including the role of a registered manager
  • A good understanding of leadership principles and best practice
  • Experience of creating and analysing training needs analysis
  • Relevant teaching qualification or willing to work towards
