Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To understand the Transfusion and blood tracking system requirements particularly in relation to compliance with the Blood Safety and Quality Regulations (BSQR, 2005) and propose system solutions where possible. To maintain a good working knowledge of the system administration. To have a working knowledge of computer equipment and systems and to provide first line support for these items where appropriate. This will include a variety of PCs, label printers, mobile devices and other computer peripherals as well any other integrated systems to blood tracking. To escalate to Trust IT or suppliers as appropriate. To have knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products.
