Summary
The Imaging Department at Whipps Cross Hospital is expanding, and we are seeking qualified Band 5 Junior Radiographers to join our dynamic and supportive team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
As a Band 5 Radiographer, you will have the opportunity to enhance and consolidate your clinical experience across all areas of General Imaging, including A&E, GP, In-patient X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, and Theatres. Additionally, there is scope for training and rotation through Dexa, providing a broad range of experiences to develop your skills.

The aim of this role is to provide high quality, effective Imaging services within adult and paediatric general X-Ray, Mobile/theatre work, A&E imaging, interventional radiology and fluoroscopy ie Core Services. The post holder will work closely with Radiographers, Radiologists and staff of all grades in the provision of safe, prompt and effective imaging of in-patients and out-patients, observing local and national guidelines; always in accordance with the ionising radiations (medical exposure) regulations – IR(ME)R 2017
The post holder will schedule work for the general department in conjunction with any additional tests/ward schedules that the patient is undergoing. The post holder will liaise with portering staff to ensure that the patients are transported safely and appropriately to and from the Imaging department.
