Summary
Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Office Building - Euston - up to £40,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated near Euston, London. CBW is recruiting a Fabric Engineer to work at a commercial building near Euston station. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000, overtime and further training.
Package & Working hours
- Up to £40,000
- Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
- Further training

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- General fabric repairs
- Furniture moves porterage
- Painting & Decorating
- Basic lighting
- Fixing Furniture
- Hanging Pictures & Shelves
- Maintain and update Log books
- Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
- Escort sub-contractors
- To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
Requirements
- Painting & Decorating qualification or background (Desirable)
- Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
- An understanding of most building fabric duties
- Good communication skills
- Health & Safety experience
- Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
