Summary
Provide expert medical oversight for Demelzas caseload, ensuring the highest standards of care. Support and collaborate with Demelzas Registered Nurses to deliver extraordinary, safe, and compassionate care to children and their families. Deliver specialist medical oversight, enhancing the quality, safety and effectiveness of care for children requiring palliative support. Contribute to the development of a specialist nursing outreach team, working alongside existing teams to ensure timely and appropriate symptom management for children. Play an active role in shaping national developments within paediatric palliative care, implementing national guidance at a local level. Provide education and training to the workforce, supporting ongoing development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care Support Demelzas research initiatives, contributing to advancements in paediatric palliative care. Training would be a full-time position for 1 year across the tertiary centre and Demelza Eltham, £61,852 to £70,425 a year whilst undertaking SPIN training. At the end of the training the position would be 6 PA based at Eltham.
