Summary
- As a member of the nursing team participate in maintaining good workingrelationships and promote good communications within the emergencydepartment environment. - To assist in maintaining the health and safety requirements of all children andyoung persons, carers, visitors and staff. - To be an active member of the team contributing ideas to improve/maintainefficiency within the area and utilise resources effectively. - To actively contribute towards a happy and therapeutic environment and to theworking of the multi-disciplinary ward team. - Is responsible for maintaining complete, legible up to date records of nursing care in line with NMC (2008) guidelines. - Having undertaken the appropriate training act as a Practice Assessor forDiploma/Degree students on ward. - Understand your role and responsibilities in safeguarding children identifying and referring children and families in need / at risk
