Summary
We are looking for someone with relevant experience to assist (and occasionally fill in for) our fish-keeper with the upkeep of the fish and other exhibits at our aquarium operation in Matlock Bath. This is a permanent role.
The successful candidate will have experience of looking after fish in either a commercial or home setting, and will be involved in regular feeding, as well as undertaking water changes and all other miscellaneous tasks in the upkeep of the attraction.
We are a fairly compact operation, and the duties associated with the above tasks will probably equate to around five or six hours per week spread across Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week, with at least one shift being an 8am start. However if more hours are required on a permanent basis, we may be able to also offer shifts in our amusement arcade operations to increase weekly hours up to full-time if required. Please note that we are not allowed to employ anyone under the age of eighteen for work in the amusement arcade.
